SIMPLE BY DESIGN

How to use Text Cleaner

  1. Paste ordinary text with unwanted spaces or tabs.
  2. Choose whether to keep or remove empty lines.
  3. Generate and review the cleaned result alongside the source.

Normalize pasted copy while keeping line boundaries.

Copying from documents or chat can leave repeated spaces, tabs and uneven line edges. Text Cleaner reduces runs of spaces and tabs inside each line, trims the line ends and normalizes line breaks. Choose whether empty lines should remain. This is intended for ordinary prose and lists, not indentation-sensitive code or carefully spaced layouts. Keep the source copy when whitespace may carry meaning.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A little more clarity.

Is it safe for source code indentation?

Not generally. The cleaner collapses spaces and trims lines, which can change indentation-sensitive code or preformatted text.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This utility processes your input in your browser. URLs you paste are treated as data; the tool does not fetch them. Be careful with clipboard history on shared devices.
