How to use UTM Campaign URL Builder

  1. Enter a destination URL along with campaign source, medium and name.
  2. Optionally add term and content labels using a consistent naming convention.
  3. Generate the URL and test the destination before sharing it.

Make a campaign link easier to identify in analytics.

UTM parameters label a link with a source, medium and campaign. This builder uses URLSearchParams so spaces and special characters are encoded consistently while unrelated parameters and the fragment remain intact. Optional term and content fields can distinguish ad variants or placements. The resulting link does not create analytics on its own; the destination must have a suitable measurement setup. Avoid putting personal or confidential information into URL parameters.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A little more clarity.

Does the builder track clicks?

No. It creates a tagged link locally. Any attribution depends on the destination website’s analytics configuration.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This utility processes your input in your browser. URLs you paste are treated as data; the tool does not fetch them. Be careful with clipboard history on shared devices.
